About the role

The Architectural Project Manager role involves working independently on multiple projects in collaboration with a fast-paced and creative team. With direction from the Principal Architect, you will play a meaningful role in developing each phase of your assigned projects. We pride ourselves on our collaboration; you will work directly with clients, contractors, consultants and governing agencies to bring the project to life.

Responsibilities

  • Work independently on multiple projects in collaboration with a fast-paced and creative team.
  • Develop each phase of assigned projects under the direction of the Principal Architect.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, consultants, and governing agencies to bring projects to life.
  • Work closely with the design team to ensure all aspects of the project are executed to the highest standards.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet project goals and deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure clear understanding and expectations.

Requirements

  • Architectural Designer BArch, MArch or equivalent degree from an accredited U.S. Architecture School.
  • CA Architect's license is a plus, but not necessarily required.
  • 6+ years of architectural office experience, including the production of construction drawings and details.
  • Experience with Vectorworks.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and value attention to detail.
  • Ability to work together with the team and consultants to deliver value for clients.
  • Responsive and dependable to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate.

Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must be available to work in the office in downtown San Luis Obispo and visit job sites throughout San Luis Obispo County.

Skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Vectorworks.

Pay

$95,000 - $105,000 annually
