About the role
The Architectural Project Manager role involves working independently on multiple projects in collaboration with a fast-paced and creative team. With direction from the Principal Architect, you will play a meaningful role in developing each phase of your assigned projects. We pride ourselves on our collaboration; you will work directly with clients, contractors, consultants and governing agencies to bring the project to life.
Responsibilities
- Work independently on multiple projects in collaboration with a fast-paced and creative team.
- Develop each phase of assigned projects under the direction of the Principal Architect.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, consultants, and governing agencies to bring projects to life.
- Work closely with the design team to ensure all aspects of the project are executed to the highest standards.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure clear understanding and expectations.
Requirements
- Architectural Designer BArch, MArch or equivalent degree from an accredited U.S. Architecture School.
- CA Architect's license is a plus, but not necessarily required.
- 6+ years of architectural office experience, including the production of construction drawings and details.
- Experience with Vectorworks.
- Self-motivated, organized, and value attention to detail.
- Ability to work together with the team and consultants to deliver value for clients.
- Responsive and dependable to meet deadlines.
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate.
Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Must be available to work in the office in downtown San Luis Obispo and visit job sites throughout San Luis Obispo County.
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Vectorworks.

Pay
$95,000 - $105,000 annually
