The Human Service Specialist role involves working directly with children and families involved in the child welfare system to promote family stability and positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate supervised visits between children and families.
• Provide parent education on mental health and substance use.
• Support families using trauma-informed, family-centered practices.
• Collaborate with case managers and service teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Participate in team meetings.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of human services experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
