Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, resume review, screening, interviewing, and offer preparation
- Partner with hiring managers to identify talent needs and deliver an exceptional candidate experience
- Administer pre-employment assessments, background checks, drug screenings, and other hiring-related programs
- Cook up new hire onboarding and orientation activities to ensure a successful transition into the organization
- Cook up college recruiting initiatives and represent Drees Homes at career fairs, campus events, and networking opportunities
- Maintain employee data and process personnel changes within the HRIS while ensuring data accuracy and integrity
- Support employment branding initiatives, recruitment marketing efforts, and social media recruiting platforms
- Conduct exit interviews and provide reporting and insights to support employee retention efforts
- Generate HR reports and support performance review, survey, and compliance-related processes
- Aid in employee engagement activities, community involvement programs, and other Human Resources projects as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- 2-5 years of Human Resources experience with a strong focus on recruiting and talent acquisition
- Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and recruitment processes
- Experience supporting multiple locations and partnering with a variety of business leaders
- HRIS experience required; UKG experience preferred
- Applicant Tracking System experience; iCIMS experience is a plus
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
- SHRM-CP certification is a plus
