Human Resources Specialist (Recruitment & Placement/Executive Resources)
Duties Summary
This position is being filled under a stream-lined hiring authority, Title 21 of the United States Code (21 US Code 379d-3a) as amended by the 21st Century Cures Act of 2016, section 3072 and the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023, Section 3624. The candidate selected for this position will serve under a career or career-conditional appointment and be paid under the provisions of this authority.
Requirements
Relevant Years of Experience: Applicants must meet the following relevant years of experience to qualify for this AD-0201- Band C (GS-13 equivalent) position: Six (6) years comparable experience managing executive resources programs under SES, SL, ST, or SBRBPAS appointment authorities, with demonstrated competency in at least two of the following: Coordinating executive vacancy announcements; Administering SES ratings and pay adjustments; OR Advising senior leadership on competitive/noncompetitive SES appointments, Schedule C, and SES limited appointments.

This position is located in the Office of Operations, Office of Talent Solutions, Scientific Programs & Executive Resources Staff (SPERS) which provides high quality and efficient Human Resources solutions that enable the FDA to hire a talented and qualified workforce.
