Human Resources Specialist (Recruitment/Classification)

About the Role

You will work with management to design, develop, implement, and track both activity and HR strategic/business plans to recruit, develop, and retain the talent needed to accomplish the assigned mission.

Responsibilities

• Review past recruitment practices and local labor market conditions to advise on future staffing strategies.
• Provide strategic recruitment advisory services (i.e., determining the where, how, and means to find talent) to management officials.
• Apply a thorough understanding of classification principles and concepts to interpret and apply classification standards/guides to reach sound classification decisions.
• Analyze, develop, and administer organizational design and position management to enhance the efficiency and performance of organizations.
• Solve human resources problems that cross multiple program lines (e.g., recruitment, classification, compensation, staffing, etc.).
• Accomplish other duties as assigned.
