Human Resources Specialist - Manufacturing

About the role

This role combines recruiting with HR operations to support the full employee lifecycle in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will manage both hourly and salaried hiring while ensuring an excellent candidate and employee experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for hourly, salaried, seasonal, and professional roles.
• Partner with hiring managers to define needs, source candidates, and coordinate interviews.
• Screen, interview, and extend offers while maintaining clear communication throughout the process.
• Manage relationships with staffing agencies for temporary workforce needs.
• Oversee onboarding, employee status changes, records, and policy support.
• Ensure adherence to employment laws, maintain HR documentation, and prepare reports/dashboards.
• Support performance management, recognition programs, and conduct exit interviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years of HR and/or recruiting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; HRIS/ATS experience preferred.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (onsite in a manufacturing setting).

Pay

$74,880.00 – $83,200.00 per year.
