About the role

Mark Twain Behavioral Health (MTBH) is a private not-for-profit Certified Community Behavioral Health Organization serving Northeast Missouri since 1975 with a wide variety of outpatient services. This is a full-time salaried position located in our Kirksville, Missouri office.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with new employee orientation and onboarding
  • Facilitate benefit enrollment and account opening
  • Provide support to employees via individual and group communications
  • Provide benefit changes for monthly payroll
  • Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives as requested
  • Participate in Health & Safety Initiatives as requested
  • Assist with Health Plan and Supplemental Benefits Open Enrollments
  • Complete Timesheet reviews for Recovery Technicians
  • Provide employee training as indicated
  • Perform compliance duties
  • Participate in team meetings
  • Provide support for coordination of marketing materials to the community as assigned by Director of Marketing and Community Development
  • Assist with social media management as requested
  • Represent agency publicly at community events as assigned
  • Create department materials for events and communications

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or closely related field with at least two (2) years full-time professional experience
  • OR minimum of four (4) years of experience in Human Resources
  • Certification in Human Resources preferred
