About the role

Mark Twain Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time Human Resources Specialist for our Kirksville, Missouri office. This full-time salaried position offers competitive pay and full benefits. Responsibilities

• Assist with new employee orientation and onboarding
• Facilitate benefit enrollment and account opening
• Provide support to employees via individual and group communications
• Provide benefit changes for monthly payroll
• Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives as requested
• Participate in Health & Safety Initiatives as requested
• Assist with Health Plan and Supplemental Benefits Open Enrollments
• Complete Timesheet reviews for Recovery Technicians
• Provide employee training as indicated
• Perform compliance duties
• Participate in team meetings
• Provide support for the coordination of marketing materials to the community as assigned by Director of Marketing and Community Development
• Assist with social media management as requested
• Represent agency publicly at community events as assigned
• Create department materials for events and communications
• Adhere to the MTBH Ethical Code of Conduct and all policies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or closely related field with at least two (2) years full-time professional experience OR
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in Human Resources
• Certification in Human Resources preferred
