GENERAL SUMMARY

This position is responsible for specialized Human Resource functions, such as Compensation, Benefits, HRIS, Staffing, Payroll, Labor Relations or Employee Relations. This position utilizes administrative and technical expertise in support of Human Resources strategies and objectives.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provides direct support to both internal and external customers through use of knowledge of specialized Human Resource discipline(s), established Energy Northwest Procedures, guidelines, policy and both federal and State laws/regulations.
  • Daily Activity: Provides day to day Human Resources support in one or more of the following areas as needed: compensation, benefits, HRIS, staffing, payroll labor relations, employee relations or EE.
  • Requires specialized knowledge and experience in one or more Human Resource discipline(s) as identified.
  • Resolves issues, suggests solutions and works to accommodate customer requests in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Makes regular reports, fulfills customer requests, and audits processes to ensure excellence in daily work and products provided to internal and external HR customers.
  • Shares ideas and concepts for continuous improvement.
  • Engages actively in various meetings, projects, and events.
  • Supports Human Resource staff, supervision, and associated Energy Northwest Leadership internally.
  • Participates in various projects and supports overall Human Resource goals and objectives through daily activity and HR team interactions.
  • Takes an active role in planning, initiates specific function CR/AR, and responds timely to ensure use of historical data and ongoing action tracking.
  • Assists in file room activities and ensures functional area files are up-to-date.
  • Acts as an area Safety coordinator and is actively involved on the ERO team.
  • Communicates accurately verbally, in writing, and through presentations to internal and/or external customers to relay Human Resource data and information, in response to inquiries and for clarification purposes.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality and data integrity.
  • May support ERO and Outage positions.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related or social sciences field OR
  • Associates degree in a business-related or social sciences field and two years of experience in Human Resources OR
  • High school diploma or GED and four or more years of experience in Human Resources

PAY RANGE

$34.71 - $52.07 Hourly
Midpoint: $43.39

Typically, selected candidates are hired between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on applicable experience and qualifications, market rate, internal equity, and budgetary allowances. Offers will be negotiated based on each candidate's qualifications.

Incentive Compensation

This role may be eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan. Incentives are earned based on employee performance against defined metrics and company goals.
