Summary
The position is hybrid, with employees working both remotely and at a formalized office schedule. Location consideration is available at Bank Plaza - Wheeling, WV, Fairmont Main - Fairmont, WV, Ironton - Ironton, OH, etc.
Responsibilities
- Maintain HRIS database
- Prepare and pay company's medical billing
- Coordinate employee wellness initiatives
- Work with highest level of confidentiality
- Provide customer service and interpersonal skills
- Communicate effectively with management, employees, and customers
- Promote organization's philosophy and values
- Maintain knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements
- Serve as primary point of contact for employee benefit inquiries
- Partner with benefit vendors to resolve complex issues
- Maintain accurate employee benefits records
- Review and adjust payroll deductions for insurance billings
- Process weekly and monthly medical billing and reporting
- Administer the Bank's transportation program
- Aid in the annual benefit open enrollment process
- Assist with employee wellness programs and initiatives
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Requirements
- Banking is highly regulated, requiring proficiency in policies and procedures and adherence to laws and regulations
- Read and interpret documents such as benefit plan documents, reports, and procedure manuals
- Write routine reports and correspondence
- Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
- Interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Prepare reports, analyze, and report issues
- Manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and administrative processes
- Build working relationships with employees, retirees, and vendors
- Use Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Use Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and web-based applications
- Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Accounting preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in benefits administration preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with related office/clerical work required

- Wage range: $20.00 - $23.00 hourly
