NOTICE OF JOB OPPORTUNITY -------------------------------------------------------------------- Position: HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST FLSA: Regular/Full-Time/Exempt from Overtime/Exempt from Bargaining Unit Salary Range: $50,000 - $80,000/Annually, Depending on Qualifications Department: Executive Reports To: Town Manager or Designee Deadline: Open until filled -------------------------------------------------------------------- Position Summary Under limited supervision, assists the Town Manager or Designee with all aspects of human resources for the Town ensuring compliance with local, state and federal regulations, including Town policies and collective bargaining agreements on personnel issues and related matters. Serves as the Towns point of contact for general liability insurance, group health insurance and all employee job-related incidents. DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS And REQUIREMENTS Valid New Mexico Drivers License or ability to obtain within thirty (30) days of hire, with acceptable driving record. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or similar certification is preferred. High School Diploma or GED Certificate Bachelors degree in human resources, public administration, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in human resources, labor relations, personnel administration, or other human resources areas.
