About the role

The position is at an automotive company. The HR Operations Specialist supports the employee lifecycle by maintaining accurate HR records, enhancing core HR processes, and resolving employee and system-related issues through proactive problem-solving and initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Support People Operations initiatives across onboarding, internal mobility, payroll, performance management, benefits enrollment, and offboarding activities.
  • Assist in maintaining and optimizing HRIS platforms to ensure data accuracy, system security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor HR case queues and dashboards to ensure timely action and resolution of requests that are approaching or exceeding SLA targets.
  • Provide guidance and training to HR team members and employees on HR systems while troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies or missing information to ensure accurate HR records.
  • Collect, monitor, and compile HR and operational metrics, including headcount, time tracking, turnover, and employee data, and distribute reports to the appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Configure Workday EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder) to support efficient data integration and transfer while troubleshooting technical issues as needed.
  • Understand Workday business processes and execute EIB data loads based on approved configuration workbooks.
  • Manage EIB request volumes through ServiceNow ticketing, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  • Participate in projects focused on improving the employee experience and provide testing support when required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a Human Resources environment; experience with HCM platforms such as Workday is strongly preferred.
  • Highly process-oriented with demonstrated success managing HR projects and measuring outcomes through relevant metrics.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify insights, and apply findings to improve processes and decision-making.
  • Ability to recognize opportunities for automation and process optimization, with a proactive approach to implementing efficient solutions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Support HR initiatives, projects, and continuous process improvement efforts.

Pay

$56k to $100k annually.
