Human Resources Specialist

About the role

This position is located in the Human Resources Department of the Human Capital Management Group and performs work as a Human Resources Advisor (HRA). The incumbent interprets HR concepts, laws, regulations, rules, principles, and practices in one or more HR functional areas such as staffing/employment, classification, compensation, performance management, and employee relations.

Utilizes automated technology to produce documents, charts, graphs, and presentations and uses data management tools to research, organize, and analyze personnel information. Researches, analyzes, and communicates information.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and assistance on one or more HR functional areas such as staffing/employment, classification, compensation, performance management, and employee relations.
• Assist hiring managers with recruitment and staffing.
• Research answers to questions relating to HR functional areas.
• Gather and analyze information to provide guidance and recommendations.

Pay

Minimum Salary: $47,479
Maximum Salary: $103,006
