Human Resources Specialist
Responsibilities
- Serve as a versatile, jack-of-all-trades team member who can learn our processes and provide backup support across the HR department.
- Support benefits administration, including wellness program initiatives, invoice processing (medical, dental, life, etc.), assisting staff and attorneys with benefits questions, and assisting with Open Enrollment.
- Collaborate with the Total Rewards Manager to process 401(k) contributions and loan repayments utilizing ADP and Fidelity Plan Sponsors Webstation (PSW).
- Serve as a backup for processing FMLA requests.
- Aid in compensation surveys, diversity surveys, and RFPs on a timely basis.
- Act as Employee Transportation Coordinator (ETC) in compliance with the Commute Trip Reduction (CTR) Law.
- Help organize and coordinate HR events, training sessions, and employee engagement activities.
- Contribute to special projects across various HR functions.
Requirements
An in-person presence is required for this position five (5) days a week with normal business hours.

- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), HRIS and general computer literacy including Windows OS and internet browsers.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.

- Eagerness to learn, receptive to feedback, and committed to continuous professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field and 3–5 years of related experience.
- Certificate in Human Resources is preferred.
- Legal or professional services organization experience is preferred.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60,000-$80,000 annually; however, actual pay may vary depending on the candidate's education, training, experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
