Human Resources Specialist
Responsibilities
with- each.
Essential Skills: list of skills. Could be under Skills or Requirements. The instruction: Use headings like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We can combine essential skills under Skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications could go under Qualifications or Additional Skills. We'll decide: maybe Skills for essential skills, Qualifications for additional skills & qualifications plus education/experience.
Work Environment: includes schedule details (40-hour workweek, standard hours 8-5 PT, hybrid). That's Schedule info. Also location (Irvine, CA hybrid). Could be under Schedule and maybe Location but we don't have a heading for location; we could put location in About the role or maybe not needed. We'll include Schedule section with details: 40-hour workweek, standard hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time, hybrid (3 days onsite, remote flexibility). Also mention Work Environment details maybe as part of Schedule or About the role. But we should not invent sections; we can include Schedule with that info.
Pay And Benefits: includes pay range $36.00 - $38.00/hr and list of benefits. So we need Pay section with pay range, and Benefits section with list.
We must not include boilerplate like "Eligibility requirements apply..." but that's part of benefits description; we should keep substantive info about benefits. The sentence: "Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms." That's somewhat generic but still part of benefits description; we can keep it as part of Benefits section prose.
We must remove application deadline, About Aston Carter, EEO, etc.
Also remove "Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Irvine, CA." That's location and job type; we could incorporate location into About the role or maybe not needed. Since we have no heading for Job Type, we could include location in About the role paragraph or maybe as a short p under About the role. But we must not repeat job title. We'll include location in About the role paragraph maybe after description.
Let's craft:
About the role
This Human Resources Specialist role focuses on learning and development operations, with primary responsibility for planning, coordinating, and administering training activities and systems. The position supports global learning initiatives by managing the Learning Management System (LMS), handling training logistics, and providing high-quality administrative and customer service support to learners and internal stakeholders. This is a contract position based in Irvine, CA, operating on a hybrid schedule.
But we already have Schedule section; maybe we keep location in About the role. Responsibilities: list each bullet. Skills: essential skills list. Qualifications: Additional Skills & Qualifications plus education/experience etc. Also include "Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5–7 years of administrative and/or customer service-related experience." plus maybe "Previous experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training operations." Actually that is in Essential Skills. We'll keep essential skills under Skills, and qualifications under Qualifications. Let's extract essential skills list: - Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with learners, stakeholders, and team members. - Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate course configurations, records, invitations, and reporting. - Customer service orientation and strong interpersonal skills to support learners and internal partners in a professional and responsive manner. - Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Previous experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training operations. - Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience. - 5–7 years of administrative and/or customer service-related experience. But note that Bachelor's degree and years experience could be qualifications; but they are listed under Essential Skills in posting. We'll keep them under Skills as they appear. Additional Skills & Qualifications list: - Experience or interest in human resources, learning and development, HR administration, or related fields. - Experience supporting global or multi-site learning programs. - Familiarity with managing certifications, learning plans, and complex enrollment rules within an LMS. - Ability to collaborate effectively within a small team environment and contribute to continuous improvement of learning processes. - Comfort working with data, reports, and survey feedback to support training evaluation and follow-up. - Understanding of general administrative best practices and documentation standards. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. We'll put those under Qualifications. Work Environment / Schedule: details: - This is a temporary, full-time role with a defined assignment period and no planned conversion. - The position operates on a 40-hour workweek, with standard hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time. - The role is structured as hybrid in Irvine, with three days per week onsite, and offers flexibility for remote work as long as the contractor can consistently work 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. PST. - You will join a small, collaborative team currently consisting of two members and expanding by one with this role. - Work is primarily performed using a Learning Management System and standard office software such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, in a professional office or home-office setting. - The environment emphasizes accuracy, responsiveness, and partnership with learning administrators and business stakeholders, with expectations for professional attire appropriate to an office and virtual meeting context. We can put schedule info under Schedule section: 40-hour workweek, standard hours 8-5 PT, hybrid (3 days onsite, remote flexibility). The other details about team size, tools, environment could go under About the role or maybe a separate section like Work Environment but we don't have heading for that; we could incorporate into About the role or Schedule. Since we must not create sections with filler, we can add a short paragraph under About the role covering work environment details. But we already have About the role paragraph; we can extend it. Let's restructure About the role to include: description, contract type, location, work environment highlights. Pay: $36.00 - $38.00/hr. Benefits: list as given. Now ensure we don't include boilerplate like "Eligibility requirements apply..." but we can keep it as part of benefits description; it's not boilerplate exactly but it's generic. Might be okay. However instruction: remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. The eligibility sentence is not exactly boilerplate but it's generic; still it's part of benefits description. I'd keep it. Now produce HTML:About the role
