Job Description
The Human Resources Representative Associate supports the Human Resources department at the NJVIC program, focusing on tasks that align with strategic business priorities. This role involves facilitating communication, managing candidates, and providing HR support.
Required Skills
- A Bachelor’s degree in Administration or a related field
- 1-2 years of HR experience including recruitment and Talent Management Principles
- Effective communication (oral and written)
- Confidentiality and handling fast-paced, union environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)

- Workday experience
- Professional certification (PHR)
What You’ll Be Doing
- Facilitate effective communication among HR representatives, managers, and candidates
- Ensure transparent and timely communication during the hiring process
- Sustain a continuous flow of candidates to meet staffing needs
- Foster a positive and professional candidate experience
- Support HR representatives in new employee orientation
- Understand and promote NJVIC union culture, values, and work environment
- Generate internal reports, compile data, file, and maintain staffing records
- Collaborate with HR, candidates, and managers for seamless HR support
