About the role

Campus OSU-Oklahoma City seeks a dynamic individual to join our Human Resource team. This position is responsible for creating, placing, and coordinating job advertisements for both internal and external communications. Additionally, you will receive, organize, and track resumes and applications for all open positions.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the creation, placement, and coordination of job postings for internal and external communication, including updating vendors and relevant websites.
  • Updates and maintains all job descriptions.
  • Receives, organizes, and tracks resumes and applications for all open positions through ATS.
  • Greets and assists job applicants in completing applications.
  • Greets and assists new hires in completing background check and initial employment documents including E-Verify.
  • Sends recruitment reports to supervisors and track information for compliance reporting.
  • Onboards employees by communicating new hire processes and following up with appropriate instruction or training in the form of email, presentations, in person, and within the departments.
  • Processes informational requests, such as employment verifications.
  • Verifies the employee phone directory and websites.
  • Completes all mandatory training and participates in a minimum of two professional development opportunities each year.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Education: Associate's degree or equivalent related experience.
  • Work Experience: Three years’ experience in an office support position. Two years’ experience in a human resources position.

    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • High degree of integrity; ability to work in a sensitive, highly confidential, and professional environment.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate diplomatically, clearly, and effectively, both verbally and in writing to exchange information, give/receive instructions and respond to inquiries appropriately with all students, faculty, staff and community partners.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of office technologies including but not limited to: office computers, fax machines, scanners, internet, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Accurate typing/data entry skills and demonstrated ability to work with attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and also collaborate within a team environment.
    • Exhibit problem solving skills beyond a set of instructions and adapt to changes when necessary.
    • Ability to make appropriate recommendations based on logical and justifiable reasoning.
    • Ability to use analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret written policies and procedures.
    • Passion for assisting customers and representing the OSU-OKC and OSU brand with positivity and professionalism.
    • Demonstrated history of ethical and professional behavior.

Skills

  • HR Certifications, SHRM-CP, PHR, etc. (Preferred)

Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of $19.88 - $20.68 hourly, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
