About the role

The Human Resources Recruiting Relations Specialist reports to the Human Resources Recruiting Manager and coordinates recruitment strategies to meet the needs of assigned areas. The Specialist serves as a member of the Recruitment Team to attract, recruit, and retain candidates for SRHS positions and coordinates the hiring process. This role collaborates with key departmental and organizational leaders to implement employment branding, talent programs, and systems aligned with HR initiatives for short- and long-term talent and workforce needs. The Specialist manages strategic internal and external partnerships and promotes the Health System as an employer of choice. Responsibilities include participating in discussions related to diversity recruitment, staffing, and succession planning.

All duties must align with Singing River Health System procedures, policies, accreditation standards, and governing guidance for healthcare employees.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and implement recruitment strategies for assigned areas.
  • Attract, recruit, and retain candidates for SRHS positions.
  • Collaborate with departmental and organizational leaders on employment branding, talent programs, and workforce planning.
  • Manage internal and external partnerships to promote SRHS as an employer of choice.
  • Participate in discussions on diversity recruitment, staffing, and succession planning.
  • Adhere to SRHS procedures, policies, and accreditation standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in recruiting, staffing, marketing, sales, community relations, Human Resources, or similar roles with a track record of successful outcomes.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the SRHS service area (50-mile radius, occasional travel beyond).
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, adapt to workload demands, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Superior customer service skills and professional etiquette.

Physical Demands

  • Moderately active work: frequent movement within the office and facility, including travel to other SRHS locations.

  • Ability to perceive sound at normal speaking levels (with or without correction).
  • Close visual acuity to shift focus between computer monitors and printed materials.
  • Ability to remain active for extended periods without undue fatigue.
  • Flexibility to work assigned schedules, including potential changes for hospital needs (off days, shifts, or weekends).

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
