Responsibilities

  • HR Delivery & Execution: Perform hands-on work and/or ensure accurate and timely HR delivery across the hire-to-retire lifecycle, including employee relations support, compliance reviews, policy and process documentation, onboarding/offboarding, and HRIS administration, while producing high-quality, client-ready deliverables.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the daily work of assigned HR Associates and Senior Associates, delegating tasks, balancing workloads, and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Quality Review: Serve as the first-line reviewer of work product, checking for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to RSM methodology.
  • HR Advisory Support: Provide practical HR guidance on low to mid-level concerns, more complex employee relations, performance management, workplace investigation support, and compliance matters, escalating the most complex or higher-risk issues to the Manager.
  • Compliance & Assessments: Support and execute HR compliance assessments and process reviews, identifying gaps, documenting findings, and helping develop corrective action recommendations.
  • Process & Documentation: Build and maintain repeatable HR processes, playbooks, templates, and job aids that improve consistency and efficiency across clients.
  • Deliverable & Deadline Management: Track deliverables, timelines, and priorities across assigned workstreams; monitor utilization and flag capacity or timeline risks.
  • Coaching & Enablement: Mentor junior team members through day-to-day guidance, feedback, and knowledge sharing, helping strengthen team capability across HR domains and HRIS platforms.
  • Adaptability: Support clients and teams through change, shifting priorities, and ambiguous situations with a flexible, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Growth Contribution: Contribute to proposal development and support business development activities by demonstrating HR subject-matter expertise.
  • Other Duties as Assigned: Perform other related duties as assigned to support client engagements, the team, and the growth of the HRO practice.

  • SHRM and/or HRCI certification required.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a consulting, outsourcing, multi-client, or multi-unit environment, including at least 1 year coordinating, mentoring, or supervising other HR professionals.
  • Hands-on experience across multiple areas of the HR lifecycle, including employee relations, compliance, policy development, and HR operations.
  • Experience supporting multi-state employment, wage and hour, and leave compliance considerations.

  • Experience as an HRIS user across one or more platforms, such as Rippling, ADP, Paychex, UKG, and Paylocity, or similar systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to changing client and business needs.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with internal teams and clients.
