About the role
Mission Wealth is a top-tier wealth management firm recognized for excellence in both client service and workplace culture. As a Human Resources Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the HR department and driving the firm's strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operational strategy for the Human Resources department.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve Human Resources processes and workflows.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and department documentation, and support compliance within federal, state, and local regulations.
- Manage annual Human Resources initiatives, compliance calendars, and operational projects, including our Employee Handbook.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, AI, and technology.
- Partner with the Chief Human Resources Officer on strategic department initiatives.
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition Manager to administer, evaluate, and continuously enhance the firm's onboarding program.
- Develop HR metrics, analytics, dashboards, and reporting to support executive decision-making.
- Research Human Resources best practices and recommend innovative solutions.
- Serve as an administrator and subject matter expert for the firm's HRIS platform.
- Optimize workflows, automation, and employee self-service capabilities.
- Partner with Payroll, Finance, IT, and other departments on system improvements.
- Design, develop, and facilitate manager and leadership development programs.
- Build and maintain new manager onboarding and training programs.
- Cook compliance training and annual learning initiatives.
- Support performance review processes through manager education and communications.
- Develop resources that strengthen leadership capability throughout the organization.
- Aid in succession planning and organizational development initiatives.
- Plan and execute the firm's annual employee retreat and other company-wide events.
- Develop employee engagement and recognition programs.
- Coordinate wellness initiatives and employee appreciation activities.
- Support internal Human Resources communications.
- Enhance the employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen Mission Wealth's culture.
- Partner with the Payroll & Benefits Specialist to improve benefits administration, vendor relationships, and employee communications.
- Assist with annual Open Enrollment planning and implementation.
- Support leave administration process improvements.
- Participate in compensation, benefits, and total rewards projects.
- Provide operational support for strategic Human Resources initiatives.
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience with increasing operational responsibility.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Communications, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience improving Human Resources operations and processes.
- Experience administering or implementing an HRIS platform.
- Experience developing and delivering leadership or manager training.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Outstanding customer service and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization.
- Experience supporting a multi-state workforce preferred.
Qualifications
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
- Financial services or professional services experience.
- Experience implementing AI or workflow automation solutions.
- Experience with Rippling or comparable HRIS platforms.
- Experience with organizational development or learning management systems.
- Experience with event planning.

Pay
- $90,000 base
- $30,000 annual bonus paid in quarterly increments
