Talent Acquisition

Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for all full-time, part-time, seasonal, and internship positions.

Develop recruiting strategies to attract diverse and high-quality candidates.

Sources, screens, interviews, and coordinates hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.

Manages candidate communications, employment offers, and hiring documentation.

Builds relationships with universities, professional organizations, and industry networks to develop future talent pipelines.

Continuously improves recruiting processes and employer branding initiatives.

Onboarding & Employee Experience

Designs and manages a comprehensive onboarding program that creates a positive first impression and prepares employees for long-term success.

Collaborates with department leaders to ensure new employees receive role-specific training and resources.

Evaluates and improves onboarding processes through employee feedback and performance metrics.

Employee Relations & Performance Management

Serves as a trusted resource for managers and employees regarding HR policies and workplace concerns.

Supports employee engagement initiatives that strengthen organizational culture.

Aids managers with performance evaluations, coaching, corrective action, and employee development plans.

Helps implement recognition and retention programs.

Human Resources Operations

Maintains accurate personnel records and confidential employee files.

Administers HRIS systems and employee documentation.

Supports payroll and benefits administration in coordination with Finance.

Maintains and updates employee handbook, policies, and procedures.

Compliance & Risk Management

Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Maintains compliance with Club policies, league standards, and applicable governing body requirements.

Assists with workplace investigations and employee relations matters.

Supports workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and required employment reporting.

Ensures proper completion and retention of employment documentation, including I-9 verification and onboarding records.

Organizational Development

Assists leadership with workforce planning and organizational growth.

Identifies training and professional development opportunities.

Supports succession planning and employee career development initiatives.

Promotes a culture built on accountability, professionalism, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification required.
  • 4–5 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruitment and onboarding.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms.

Preferred

  • Experience working in professional sports, collegiate athletics, or the soccer industry.
  • Experience with payroll systems and benefits administration.
  • Knowledge of visa processes and international employee onboarding.
  • Experience supporting seasonal or event-based workforces.

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to work in an office environment with occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
    • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by Club operations and matchday activities.
    • Ability to travel occasionally for recruiting, meetings, and Club events.
