About the role
The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for managing the onboarding process, maintaining electronic personnel files, assisting with benefits administration, recruitment efforts, and evaluating department performance.
Responsibilities
- Maintains electronic personnel files and uploads all documents timely and accurately
- Assists with benefits administration, including FMLA, Employee Assistance, and communicating benefit information to employees
- Affords assistance in recruitment efforts for all exempt and non-exempt personnel
- Maintains accurate and current personnel files for employees and contractor/agency personnel
- Assists in evaluating reports, decisions, and results of the department in relation to established goals
- Participates in developing department goals and processes
- Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to improve the efficiency of the department and services performed continually
- Strives to meet the needs of all customers by answering phone calls, emails, and other inquiries promptly
- Affords assistance in interpreting, maintaining, and advising personnel policies and procedures for all organization personnel
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- 3-5 years of general HR experience
- Hospital experience preferred; knowledge of Joint Commission requirements and licensure a plus
- Knowledge and experience with Kronos timekeeping and ADP are preferable
- Computer proficiency required
- Customer service orientated
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Must understand the confidential nature of Human Resources
- Ability to multitask
- Detail oriented
