Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Consult with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR Manager to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
- Participates in the evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success.
- Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
- Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
- Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
- Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
- Schedules interviews; oversees the preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
- Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Attends and participates in job fairs and recruiting sessions.
Qualifications
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Collaborative interpersonal skills with a strong customer service orientation.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Able to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
- Able to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
- Effective time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Sound analytical judgment and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skill required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience recruiting, staffing, and retaining employees.
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- SHRM Certified Professional preferred.

Compensation
$65,000 – 80,000 per year. Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location.
