About the role
Weimer Bearing is a stable, privately held industrial company focused on quality, innovation, and long-term customer relationships. The Human Resources Manager will play a key role in supporting both the company’s people and its growth.
Responsibilities
- Partner with department managers to understand workforce planning and hiring needs.
- Help manage an effective full-cycle recruitment and hiring process that creates a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers.
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees by providing guidance on HR policies, procedures and employee relations.
- Administer payroll, employee benefits, FMLA, workers' compensation and leave programs.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- Cook up employee engagement initiatives, company events and recognition programs.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Plan and conduct new hire onboarding, orientation and employee training.
- Administer the employee performance review process.
- Serve as the Safety Administrator by coordinating safety meetings and training, maintaining safety records and supporting OSHA compliance.
- Partner with department managers to provide coaching and guidance on employee performance, policy interpretation and other HR matters.
- Supervise and support the daily activities of HR Generalists/administrators, while helping develop and improve HR processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Human Resource Management, Business, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- 1–3 years of experience as an HR Manager or in a comparable HR leadership role.
- SPHR or PHR certification strongly preferred.
- Mechanical or manufacturing HR experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, payroll, benefits administration, FMLA, workers' compensation, and OSHA requirements.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with HRIS systems; Paylocity experience is a plus.

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually.
Schedule
