About the role

Weimer Bearing is a stable, privately held industrial company focused on quality, innovation, and long-term customer relationships. The Human Resources Manager will play a key role in supporting both the company’s people and its growth.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with department managers to understand workforce planning and hiring needs.
  • Help manage an effective full-cycle recruitment and hiring process that creates a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees by providing guidance on HR policies, procedures and employee relations.
  • Administer payroll, employee benefits, FMLA, workers' compensation and leave programs.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
  • Cook up employee engagement initiatives, company events and recognition programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Plan and conduct new hire onboarding, orientation and employee training.
  • Administer the employee performance review process.
  • Serve as the Safety Administrator by coordinating safety meetings and training, maintaining safety records and supporting OSHA compliance.
  • Partner with department managers to provide coaching and guidance on employee performance, policy interpretation and other HR matters.
  • Supervise and support the daily activities of HR Generalists/administrators, while helping develop and improve HR processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Human Resource Management, Business, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience as an HR Manager or in a comparable HR leadership role.
  • SPHR or PHR certification strongly preferred.
  • Mechanical or manufacturing HR experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, payroll, benefits administration, FMLA, workers' compensation, and OSHA requirements.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with HRIS systems; Paylocity experience is a plus.

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time position.
