Key Responsibilities
- Advise managers and leadership on employee relations, performance management, workers' compensation, and safety
- Oversee employee counseling, disciplinary actions, PIPs, terminations, and exit interviews
- Manage FMLA, ADA, Workers' Comp, and leave processes
- Conduct or oversee complex investigations (harassment, discrimination, misconduct)
- Represent the company in unemployment hearings and workers' comp matters
- Partner with payroll, benefits brokers, and internal departments to ensure accuracy and support open enrollment
- Lead HR projects and support policy updates
Administrative & Office Operations
- Process customer COI requests
- Manage annual licenses, permits, and office supply inventory across locations
- Maintain SharePoint forms and corporate office recordkeeping
- Monitor office purchases and participate in Safety Committee meetings
Requirements
- 3+ years of HR experience (management experience preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of state/federal employment laws, including FMLA and ADA
- AHRS/SPHR or SHRM-CP preferred
- Proficient in MS Office; Kronos experience a plus
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain confidentiality
Pay
$75,000 - $85,000 annually
