Human Resources Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Advise managers and leadership on employee relations, performance management, workers' compensation, and safety
• Oversee employee counseling, disciplinary actions, PIPs, terminations, and exit interviews
• Manage FMLA, ADA, Workers' Comp, and leave processes
• Conduct or oversee complex investigations (harassment, discrimination, misconduct)
• Represent the company in unemployment hearings and workers' comp matters
• Partner with payroll, benefits brokers, and internal departments to ensure accuracy and support open enrollment
• Lead HR projects and support policy updates

Administrative & Office Operations

• Process customer COI requests
• Manage annual licenses, permits, and office supply inventory across locations
• Maintain SharePoint forms and corporate office recordkeeping
• Monitor office purchases and participate in Safety Committee meetings

Requirements

• 3+ years of HR experience (management experience preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of state/federal employment laws, including FMLA and ADA
• AHRS/SPHR or SHRM-CP preferred
• Proficient in MS Office; Kronos experience a plus
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain confidentiality

Pay

$75,000 - $85,000 annually
