Human Resources Manager
About the role
We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our high-growth facility. Reporting to the HR Director, you will serve as a key business partner to the Newton Leadership Team, managing HR functions such as staffing, performance management, talent development, and employee relations.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the leadership team on change initiatives and lead employee relations matters
- Deploy HR processes to support business objectives and advance the people agenda
- Drive successful execution of the performance management process, including coaching leaders on tough conversations and creating performance improvement plans
- Build positive relationships across all levels and be a trusted advisor to business leaders and employees
- Lead change initiatives, including cultural changes, and drive the completion of employee engagement survey action items
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Manage all Workday transactions for employees at the site
- Support recruiting needs by working closely with the Talent Acquisition Team
- Ensure compliance with export regulations and maintain export compliance eligibility
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or equivalent
- Minimum of five years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in a collaborative, matrixed environment with a track record of achieving results
- Strong coaching and influencing skills, especially with senior leaders
- Leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and organizational proficiency
- Positive attitude, multitasking capability, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- IT savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Workday
Benefits
The salary range for this position is $108,900 - $148,470*. The final offer will be determined based on the candidate's individual merits and the company's compensation policies. The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology.
