Job Overview
The Human Resources (HR) Manager is responsible for executing and supporting key human resources initiatives. This role serves as a strategic HR partner to leaders across the organization while managing day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, compliance, talent acquisition support, and workforce development initiatives.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- Experience supporting both hourly (non-exempt) and salaried (exempt) employee populations.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
- Experience managing employee relations, performance management, and compliance programs.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and partner effectively with leaders across multiple functions without direct authority.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience administering HRIS systems and maintaining confidential employee information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- PUR, or SPHR certification.
- Experience in wire harness, cable assembly, electronics manufacturing, aerospace, defense, automotive, medical device, or other highly regulated manufacturing industries.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, IPC standards, or similar quality management systems.
- Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing operations.
- Prior experience operating as an HR Business Partner or stand-alone HR leader within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience leading organizational change, workforce development, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Vietnamese communication skills.
- Experience with compensation analysis, workforce analytics, and HR reporting tools.
