Imo's Holdings is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and support all aspects of Human Resources for our manufacturing and distribution operations in St. Louis.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary Human Resources business partner for company leadership and operations management.
- Lead employee relations activities including coaching, investigations, performance management, conflict resolution, and policy administration.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, retention, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Administer employee benefits programs and support annual open enrollment activities.
- Manage leave administration, workers' compensation, ADA accommodations, and related compliance processes.
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Analyze workforce data and trends to support business decisions.
- Support leadership development, training, and succession planning efforts.
- Provide leadership and direction to the HR Generalist.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure strong documentation practices.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate is equally comfortable coaching leaders, navigating difficult conversations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and building strong relationships throughout the organization.
- This position is fully on-site and requires regular presence within our operations.
- Candidates must reside within commuting distance of St. Louis, Missouri.
- Relocation assistance is not available.
Qualifications
- The successful candidate will be:
- An experienced HR professional with strong knowledge of employment law and regulatory compliance.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
- Comfortable addressing complex employee relations issues and holding employees and leaders accountable.
- Skilled in conducting investigations and maintaining thorough documentation.
- A trusted advisor who can build relationships while consistently applying policies and standards.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- A strong communicator with sound judgment, integrity, and professionalism.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- Manufacturing, distribution, food production, or industrial experience strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting hourly and salaried employee populations.
- HRIS experience required; Paycom experience preferred.
- PREFERRED: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification.
