Location: Princeton, NJ - In Office
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. IMG will not be providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Policies & Processes
- fully document all existing HR policies, processes and procedures at Assist America
- partner with IMG HR to develop and implement a plan to harmonize Assist America and IMG policies, processes & procedures – starting with migrating US Assist America employees to IMG’s HRIS, payroll and benefits
- Employment Law & Compliance
- ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws
- support compliance efforts across the US by partnering with other IMG HR leaders and external employment specialists
- maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks to reflect legal and organizational changes
- HR Business Partnering
- serve as a trusted HR advisor to business leaders and managers
- provide guidance on workforce planning, organizational design, performance management, and employee engagement
- support leaders with people-related decision-making that is aligned to business strategy and regional HR priorities
- Employee Relations & Performance Management
- manage employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement processes, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes
- coach managers on performance management, feedback, and employee development
- promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful workplace culture
- Talent Life Cycle Management
- conduct full cycle recruiting for the US Assist America team, partnering with hiring managers and IMG Talent Acquisition as needed
- manage full employee lifecycle; including onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless employee experience
- support talent acquisition and retention efforts
- Compensation & Benefits
- support annual compensation review processes, including salary benchmarking and bonus programs
- answer employee questions about benefits, which are administered by the Assist America Finance Team
- administer IMG benefits for Assist America employees once harmonization is complete
- provide guidance on remuneration frameworks and compliance with local regulations
- HR Operations & Regional Collaboration
- manage HR data, reporting, and metrics, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality
- work closely with global and regional HR teams to implement HR programs and initiatives
- support HR projects related to growth, restructuring, acquisitions, or system implementations
- Culture & Engagement
- partner with managers to identify development needs and promote continuous learning
- contribute to engagement surveys, action planning, and regional people initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 7–10 years of progressive HR experience
- Strong knowledge of New Jersey and US federal employment legislation and HR best practices
- Experience working in a matrixed or parent-subsidiary environment
- Experience in global organizations is an advantage
