About the role

The People team at Flexport is dedicated to attracting, developing, and retaining the best talent to redefine global trade. As the Onsite Human Resources Manager for the Lewisville, Texas Fulfillment Center, you will serve as the primary HR partner for this rapidly expanding site.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR partner for the Lewisville Fulfillment Center, advising leadership on all people-related matters.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle for our workforce, including onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Lead employee relations efforts, conducting investigations, mediating conflicts, and ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
  • Drive HR program implementation at the site level, including performance reviews, compensation cycles, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and Flexport policies within the fulfillment center.
  • Analyze HR data to identify trends, recommend solutions, and contribute to site-specific HR strategies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in an onsite operational environment (e.g., fulfillment center, manufacturing, warehouse).
  • Proven expertise in employee relations, labor law compliance, and HR best practices for non-exempt workforces.
  • Strong ability to partner with and influence site leadership to achieve business and people objectives.
  • Experience managing HR functions independently for a specific site or business unit.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • A 'compliance first' attitude to keep our regulators happy and enthusiastic about Flexport since we operate in a heavily regulated industry.

Qualifications
  • BS/BA in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-Fellow certification preferred.

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems and software.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
