About the role
Festival Foods is a Wisconsin grocer dedicated to community service and guest satisfaction. We operate over 40 full-service supermarkets across Wisconsin. This role is crucial for delivering HR services to our store.
Responsibilities
- Full-cycle recruitment efforts including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, extending offers, and new hire orientation.
- Partnering with leaders on employee relations, including investigations, documentation, corrective actions, and terminations.
- Consulting with the Support Office on employee relations cases and managing leave management for associates.
- Building relationships with associates and fostering a sense of belonging.
- Leading weekly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliant records.
- Leveraging people data to guide decision-making and improve outcomes.
- Serving as a resource for benefits and facilitating company recognition programs.
- Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- At least 2 years of human resources or operations management experience.
- SHRM-CP/PHR certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of recruiting, employee relations, compensation, and total rewards.
- Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Strong typing and computer skills.
- Confidentiality and discretion.
- Ability to work independently and make sound judgments.
