About the role

Festival Foods is a Wisconsin grocer dedicated to community service and guest satisfaction. We operate over 40 full-service supermarkets across Wisconsin. This role is crucial for delivering HR services to our store.

Responsibilities

  • Full-cycle recruitment efforts including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, extending offers, and new hire orientation.
  • Partnering with leaders on employee relations, including investigations, documentation, corrective actions, and terminations.
  • Consulting with the Support Office on employee relations cases and managing leave management for associates.
  • Building relationships with associates and fostering a sense of belonging.
  • Leading weekly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliant records.
  • Leveraging people data to guide decision-making and improve outcomes.
  • Serving as a resource for benefits and facilitating company recognition programs.
  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of human resources or operations management experience.
  • SHRM-CP/PHR certification is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting, employee relations, compensation, and total rewards.
  • Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Strong typing and computer skills.
  • Confidentiality and discretion.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound judgments.
