About the role

F&M Bank, founded in 1916, is a locally owned community bank serving California with 33 locations. The Human Resources Manager oversees all branches and departments, ensuring accurate and efficient HR operations.

Responsibilities

  • Owns the management of excellent service and provides quality control oversight to all branches and departments.
  • Supports branch & department personnel with questions on benefit and Human Resources issues as needed.
  • Serves as the supervisor over HR Specialist.
  • Develops and maintains an understanding of all aspects of F&M Bank’s business vision, mission, values, business objectives, economic drivers, organizational structure and culture.
  • Ensures that human resource programs/practices are clearly communicated and understood by management and employees across the organization.

Requirements

  • Emphasis on progressive human resource practices; detail and goal oriented with the ability to efficiently organize projects, prioritize workflow and complete multiple tasks simultaneously and accurately.
  • Highly organized leader who drives the design of the human resource policies and procedures, while maintaining simplicity and scalability; makes recommendations using current human resources practices.
  • Top-notch, personable communicator who possesses superb written and verbal communication skills along with the strength and integrity needed to effectively negotiate, facilitate cooperation, and deliver programs to educate stakeholders and reinforce company culture.
  • Devoted to operational excellence, adheres to high ethical standards and maintains focus to deliver results using solid critical and analytical skills.
  • Able to exercise sound independent judgment, initiative and tact in dealing with management, supervisors, staff and vendors; a great decision maker who can solve problems effectively.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in HR, business, or related field. Master’s degree preferred but not required.
  • Human Resources Certification is preferred.
  • Experience with ADP Software preferred.
  • Working knowledge of banking institution concepts, federal/state regulations, compliance, and policy and procedures helpful.

Pay

$95,000 - $117,500
