Human Resources Manager
About the role
The Human Resources Manager oversees the administration, coordination, and evaluation of all human resource functions within their region, including Talent Acquisition, Payroll & Benefits Administration, Safety, and other Business Partner core roles.
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements processes that support the organization's business goals.
- Guides prioritization and works alongside teams across multiple sites (Raynham, MA, NH, VA).
- Coaches and develops Human Resources Team Members.
- Advises organizational leaders on best practices in performance management and Team Member engagement.
- Develops and implements HR practices to enhance Team Member engagement.
- Develops and recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and services.
- Counsels management on personnel issues.
- Maintains organizational charts and advises leadership on organizational development.
- Optimizes key engagement processes such as talent acquisition, onboarding, leadership development, Team Member engagement, Team Member relations, and performance management.
- Demonstrates expertise in current federal and state regulations and enforces compliance.
- Oversees investigation processes and responds to Team Member concerns.
- Leads the preparation and response to relevant external audits and surveys.
- Serves as a point of contact for workers' compensation incidents and ensures compliance with safety programs.
- Participates in seminars and stays updated on HR trends to advance the organization's interests.
Requirements
- Plans, organizes, and controls all activities of the Human Resources department within their respective regions.
- Understands the business model and connects HR objectives to strategic initiatives.
- Develops and recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and services.
- Works with hiring managers to ensure the effectiveness of the selection process.
- Manages the recruitment process for all levels of employees.
- Conducts reference checks, extends job offers, and monitors career path programs.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
- Oversees investigation processes and addresses Team Member concerns.
- Leads the preparation and response to external audits and surveys.
- Serves as a point of contact for workers' compensation incidents and ensures compliance with safety programs.
- Participates in seminars and keeps abreast of current HR trends.
