Human Resources Manager
About the role
CHR Consulting Services, Inc. (CHR) is a leading and respected health care consulting services company seeking a Human Resources/Finance Manager to assist our clients. The position is ideal for someone with experience in the senior living environment and an HR certification through SHRM or HRCI.
Responsibilities
- Supports and guides clients, management, and staff on complex, specialized, and sensitive issues.
- Administers and executes routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and separations.
- Manages the talent acquisition process, including recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants.
- Creates learning and development programs and initiatives for employees.
- Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, separations, and investigations.
- Oversees the payroll department, processing bi-weekly payroll and managing employee benefits.
- Maintains compliance with employment laws and administers retirement plans audits and non-discrimination testing.
Requirements
- Experience in senior living environment.
- SHRM or HRCI certification.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficiency with ADP WorkforceNow HRIS system.

- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate appropriately.
