Human Resources Manager 3

Sodexo is seeking a Human Resources Manager 3 for Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in West Carson, CA. This role provides HR leadership in a unionized healthcare environment, supporting employee relations, investigations, compliance, and manager coaching.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR leadership in a unionized healthcare environment, supporting employee relations, investigations, and compliance.
• Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers, offering support on a wide range of HR-related questions.
• Manage data, systems, and compliance documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Streamline and improve processes that support talent, mobility, and leave administration.
• Collaborate on cross-functional projects that drive operational excellence and enhance team effectiveness.
• Gain hands-on experience with HR systems and tools while supporting internal customers.
• Navigate complex HR matters, conduct workplace investigations, and ensure compliance with government contract requirements.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 - 5 years of management experience.
• 2 - 5 years of related experience.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a strong grasp of HR systems, processes, and data accuracy.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities while staying organized, adaptable, and deadline-driven.
• Collaborative, service-first approach to resolving employee inquiries and supporting team goals.
• Comfort navigating policies and procedures with the ability to explain them clearly and confidently.
• Continuous improvement mindset—always looking for ways to streamline, simplify, and enhance processes.

Pay

Pay Range: $77,605 per year - $100,430 per year. Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. Salary offers are based on specific criteria such as experience, skills, education, and training.
