Human Resources Manager 3

About the role

Sodexo has a dynamic career opportunity for a Human Resources Manager 3 in healthcare for Trenton, NJ. The Human Resources Manager will provide on-site support to Sodexo managers and employees on all hospital/Sodexo policies and procedures, HR initiatives and training. This position will have a focus on hourly staff recruitment, on-boarding new employees, training, and employee engagement. The initial focus will support the HR function, as well as staff throughout the system covering payroll, attendance tracking, strategy development for staff, and retention strategies for both the client and Sodexo.

What You'll Do

• Support Human Resources functions for front-line staff including but not limited to: employee relations, on-boarding, training, payroll, legal compliance, benefits, worker’s compensation and FMLA
• Manage the application/resume file
• Recruit with a focus on front-line recruiting
• Manage payroll set-up and problem resolutions
• Present HR related training for unit managers
• Communicate effectively and build relationships with multiple levels of the organization; including clients, executives, managers and front-line staff
• Demonstrate strong verbal, written and presentation skills
• Have a solid understanding of HR functions and all policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum Education Requirement: Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum Management Experience: 2 Years
• Minimum Functional Experience: 2 years in HR

Preferred Experience

Previous Human Resources experience in a healthcare operation would be helpful.
