Job Description
The HR Leadership Development Program (HRLDP) is a rotational program where participants dive into high-impact projects that drive innovation, elevate organizational performance, and champion a culture of inclusion and excellence.
Responsibilities And Duties
- Analyzes HR metrics and trends to inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement
- Supports the development and implementation of organizational design models that align with business strategies
- Champions automation and technology solutions to enhance HR operations
- Leverages AI and emerging technologies to support strategic HR initiatives
- Leads and supports HR operations and COEs, ensuring alignment with company policies, procedures, and strategic goals
- PARTNERS WITH BUSINESS LEADERS TO IDENTIFY WORKFORCE NEEDS AND IMPLEMENT TALENT STRATEGIES
- MANAGES COMPLEX EMPLOYEE RELATIONS MATTERS WITH PROFESSIONALISM AND CONFIDENTIALITY
- COLLABORATES CROSS-FUNCTIONALLY TO SUPPORT CHANGE MANAGEMENT AND ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES
- Demonstrates ability to navigate ambiguity and apply advanced problem-solving skills to drive clarity, make informed decisions, and deliver effective solutions in complex situations
Knowledge And Skills
- Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; experience with HR data and reporting tools, including familiarity with AI tools used in HR (e.g., Workday, Qualtrics, Pymetrics, etc.)
- Proven ability to analyze current organizational structures and provide recommendations for improving efficiency
- Demonstrates ability to quickly learn new information and apply knowledge
- Exhibits strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and develop others
- Demonstrates knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws
- Exhibits ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Exhibits excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Shows strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (such as Power Bi & Excel): experience with HRIS systems preferred
- Shows ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Maintains commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Basic Qualifications
- Must have completed a master’s degree within the past two years.
- Preferred study: Business, Human Resources, Organizational Design, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or Business Analytics
- Must have 0-3 years of HR experience (internships or HR assistant roles)
- Must be located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to relocate
- Must be willing and available to report to the UPS Corporate Office in Atlanta on a daily basis
