Description
The United States Space Force (USSF) is searching for a Human Resources Information Systems Requirements Manager. This role involves managing HR IT system requirements, ensuring alignment with Financial Management Regulations (FMR) and audit readiness standards. Key responsibilities include analyzing, evaluating, and prioritizing HR IT requirements, coordinating with stakeholders and developers, and troubleshooting complex system issues.
Ideal Candidate
- Dual-threat expert in Human Resources and DoW Financial Management (FM)
- Deep understanding of personnel transactions and their impact on military pay, entitlements, and allowances
- Well-versed in FIAR guidelines and HR system architectures for FM audit compliance
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field (Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or Management Information Systems)
- DoD FM Certification (Level 2 or 3) or Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) credential
- Proficient in translating HR and financial policies into Agile software development requirements
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-level Defense HR or Financial systems
Key Skills and Abilities
- Expert technical knowledge of personnel systems administration and HR management
- Sound understanding of personnel data systems and available software
- Ability to apply computer system and Human Resource knowledge to cause and effect analysis
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written
- High degree of analytical ability to assess legislative impacts on personnel functions
Requirements
- U.S. Citizen
- Secret security clearance
- May require travel
- Eligible for situational telework
- Approximately 20 days of TDY per year
- No relocation or incentive offered
