Responsibilities
- Direct recruitment efforts from sourcing through offer stage, while managing onboarding and key employee lifecycle milestones.
- Advise leaders on workplace matters, including performance concerns, employee relations issues, and sensitive staff situations.
- Create, refine, and uphold human resources policies and procedures that align with organizational needs and employment standards.
- Maintain organized and accurate personnel files, HR records, and supporting documentation with a high level of confidentiality.
- Coordinate training programs that strengthen workplace awareness, including compliance-focused and harassment prevention education.
- Contribute to staffing and retention efforts by supporting workforce planning and initiatives that improve employee engagement and continuity.
- Act as a dependable resource to leadership by offering practical guidance on HR priorities, people strategies, and organizational matters.
Requirements
- At least five years of progressive experience in human resources, including time spent in a leadership or decision-making capacity.
- Demonstrated knowledge of employee relations, benefits administration, talent acquisition, and employment law.
- Background working effectively as the primary HR contact or within a lean human resources team.
- Strong ability to build trust and communicate effectively with employees, managers, and senior leaders.
- Excellent organization, judgment, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong discretion and a consistent ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Familiarity with HR administration, onboarding processes, benefits functions, and HR information systems is valued.
