About the role

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead core people operations for our team in Fort Mill, South Carolina. This role will serve as a key resource for employees and leaders, helping create a positive workplace while maintaining strong HR practices and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will bring a balanced approach to talent acquisition, employee support, benefits coordination, and performance management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full hiring process, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to coordinating offers and welcoming new employees into the organization.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters by addressing workplace concerns, supporting resolution efforts, and promoting a respectful work environment.
  • Coordinate performance management activities, including review cycles, manager support, and initiatives that encourage employee growth and development.
  • Oversee benefits administration and maintain accurate personnel documentation to support efficient HR operations.
  • Monitor adherence to employment regulations and internal policies, and help ensure HR practices remain current and compliant.
  • Contribute to compensation planning and maintain well-defined job descriptions that reflect business needs and role expectations.
  • Prepare HR metrics, summaries, and workforce reports to support decision-making and organizational planning.
  • Collaborate with company leadership on staffing strategies and retention efforts designed to strengthen workforce stability.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in human resources, including responsibility for multiple HR functions.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, HR standards, and practical compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and leaders at all levels.
  • Experience supporting employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, and general HR operations.
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
