Responsibilities

  • Lead HR activities across multiple sites, ensuring consistent practices in employee support, policy application, and people management.
  • Provide coaching to supervisors and operational leaders on performance conversations, workplace concerns, disciplinary actions, and team development.
  • Oversee employee relations matters with a balanced, compliant approach that supports both business needs and a respectful work environment.
  • Manage and develop a small HR team, setting priorities and building capability to meet changing workforce demands.
  • Cook up onboarding and orientation processes to help new hires integrate quickly and successfully into the organization.
  • Support workforce planning for seasonal hiring fluctuations by partnering with leaders on staffing strategies and resource needs.
  • Administer benefits-related processes and respond to employee questions regarding available programs and eligibility.
  • Drive HR initiatives that improve consistency, manager effectiveness, and organizational readiness during periods of change.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in HR leadership or as an HR Business Partner.
  • Background supporting multi-site operations in manufacturing, agriculture, horticulture, construction, landscaping, or another labor-intensive environment.
  • Demonstrated strength in handling employee relations issues and advising managers on complex workplace situations.
  • Experience leading or mentoring HR staff while maintaining a hands-on approach to daily HR responsibilities.
  • Working knowledge of onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, and compliance-related HR practices.
  • Proven ability to support high-volume or seasonal workforces in a fast-moving operational setting.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust across frontline teams and leadership.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish capability is strongly preferred.

Qualifications
