Responsibilities

  • Direct human resources activities across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance support, training, benefits coordination, payroll partnership, and policy administration.
  • Advise executives and department leaders on workforce planning, employee concerns, organizational priorities, and effective people management strategies.
  • Lead hiring efforts for year-round and peak-season staffing needs, helping the business scale efficiently during periods of rapid headcount growth.
  • Provide coaching to managers on documentation, corrective action, conflict resolution, and consistent application of workplace policies.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits processes, ensuring employees receive accurate information and a positive support experience.
  • Manage workers’ compensation matters, leave administration, and other employee support programs in alignment with company practices and legal requirements.
  • Maintain HR records and HRIS data with accuracy while producing reports and insights that support operational and staffing decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, internal policies, and HR best practices across all stages of employment.
  • Contribute to culture-building and organizational development efforts that strengthen engagement, accountability, and retention in a fast-moving environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive human resources experience, including broad exposure to multiple HR disciplines.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle employee relations matters with sound judgment, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law, HR compliance standards, and practical human resources best practices.
  • Experience supporting payroll, benefits administration, workers’ compensation, and core HR operations.
  • Proficiency with HR administration processes and human resources information systems (HRIS).
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, service-driven setting with significant seasonal staffing fluctuations.
  • Strong communication and partnership skills with the ability to influence leaders and build trust across the organization.
  • Hospitality or other customer-focused industry experience and bilingual language skills are valued.

Qualifications

Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.

Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
