About The Role
Voltage is seeking a proactive and well-rounded HR Generalist to support day-to-day Human Resources operations. In this role, you will work across employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits, and compliance while serving as a trusted resource for employees and managers. You’ll play a key role in ensuring a positive employee experience within a growing and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee HR inquiries and support needs.
- Support employee relations activities, including investigations and corrective action processes.
- Coordinate recruiting efforts, including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including I-9 compliance and background checks.
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, life events, and open enrollment.
- Support payroll processes and ensure HRIS data accuracy.
- Assist with compliance activities (FMLA, ADA, COBRA, EEO, OSHA, wage & hour).
- Maintain employee records and generate HR reports and metrics.
- Support performance management, training programs, and HR initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience.
- Experience supporting employee relations, recruiting, benefits, and compliance.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems (Workday, ADP, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a manufacturing or high-growth environment preferred.
- HR certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) and payroll experience preferred.
