Human Resources Generalist (Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials)

The Human Resources Generalist role at Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials Inc. serves as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, supporting the full spectrum of human resources activities within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR guidance and coaching to supervisors and managers on employee relations, performance management, career development, and workplace concerns
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees and leaders while fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Build strong partnerships throughout the organization to support business objectives and employee engagement
- Manage employee relations matters, investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations in a fair, ethical, and compliant manner
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
- Identify and mitigate employment-related risks while supporting organizational goals
- Administer leave programs including FMLA and support workers' compensation and unemployment processes
- Prioritize recruiting efforts and ensure timely hiring of qualified candidates
- Collaborate with Talent Management to support workforce planning, succession planning, and employee development initiatives
- Conduct onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a positive employee experience
- Manage 30-, 60-, and 90-day new hire follow-up processes
- Assist with compensation planning, wage structure reviews, and market competitiveness assessments
- Support performance management programs and employee development initiatives
- Help develop and maintain job descriptions and conduct job evaluations as needed
- Recommend and administer employee recognition and incentive programs
- Analyze HR trends and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
- Support the implementation of HR programs, policies, and procedures
- Partner with corporate and regional HR teams on strategic initiatives and organizational projects
- Utilize HR data and insights to support business decision-making
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- 3–5 years of Human Resources experience
- Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or production environments preferred
- Leave management experience required
- Familiarity with workers' compensation, unemployment, and employee relations processes
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Experience supporting performance management, recruiting, onboarding, and employee development initiatives
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
- Experience with HRIS systems; Workday experience is a plus
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Trilingual English/Spanish/Vietnamese is a plus

Benefits
Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package. The salary range for this position is $67,570- $101,350 USD Annual. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
Pay
The estimated annual salary for this role is $97,292.
