About the Role

BioTouch is a single-source, international provider for all mission-critical kitting and logistics needs. We partner with a wide range of medical facilities and healthcare providers to bring a higher level of care to healthcare delivery. We are seeking an HR Generalist to assist in all related functions for our largest kitting and logistics facilities in Columbus, GA and Midland GA. This position will support the full lifecycle of employees, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and must have a strategic mindset to align with the overall business strategy to foster a safe, productive, and positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Bridge management and employee relations by being accessible and approachable, actively promoting employee engagement and activities, and addressing questions, concerns, demands, or complaints.
  • Support and implement employee retention strategies to maintain a motivated workforce, positive culture, and workplace experience.
  • Contribute and communicate with supervisors, peers, and subordinates by providing information, guidance, and direction, and develop cooperative working relationships.
  • Maintain HRIS, processes, and employee life cycle record-keeping, including oversight and support of local payroll, time, attendance, and company-sponsored benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and maintain up-to-date job descriptions.
  • Support the development of training programs under the direction of the L&D team and monitor their effectiveness; conduct training on HR topics as needed.
  • Investigate causes of employee disputes and complaints, recommend fair and consistent corrective action, and demonstrate integrity and confidentiality.
  • Partner with the Corporate Recruiter and local stakeholders on key site positions as needed.
  • Handle additional projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Relevant work experience and/or a Human Resources certification may be considered without a degree.
  • 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in Manufacturing, Distribution, or Warehouse environments.
  • HRCI or SHRM Certification is preferred.
  • Previous payroll experience is a plus.
  • Prior experience working with an HRM/HRIS system; ADP is a plus.
  • Experience in retaining and maintaining an hourly workforce culture.
