What You'll Do Experienced Human Resources professional with expertise managing the full employee lifecycle for Graduate Assistants, OPS employees, and Student Assistants in a higher education environment. Coordinates Graduate Assistant appointments, reappointments, onboarding, evaluations, tuition waivers, and employment transactions while ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures. Oversees a broad range of HR actions, including recruitments, position changes, reclassifications, salary adjustments, additional pay, and terminations, with a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and customer service. Skilled in payroll and leave administration, including payroll review, time reporting, FMLA, and leave of absence coordination. Serves as a trusted partner to faculty, administrators, and university stakeholders to resolve complex personnel matters, improve HR processes, and support organizational goals. Provides leadership by serving as backup to the HR Team Lead, mentoring HR staff, and contributing to policy development, operational excellence, and special projects.
