Human Resources Generalist I

Our Human Resources team plays a vital role in supporting the faculty, staff, and students who drive innovation and excellence across the College. Responsibilities
- Process personnel transactions through University systems, including preparing electronic personnel actions and Letters of Appointment for Graduate Assistants, Fellows, OPS employees, and Student Assistants
- Coordinate employee separations and maintain accurate personnel records
- Support biweekly payroll and time administration
- Assist with employment-related requests, including background screenings, employment verification, alternate work location agreements, UFID requests, and other HR processes while ensuring compliance with University policies and procedures
- Serve as a key resource for departments by supporting Graduate Assistant appointments and evaluations
- Communicate critical deadlines, monitor compliance requirements, and provide guidance on HR and payroll processes
- Contribute to team success by providing cross-functional support, participating in process improvement initiatives, and fostering positive relationships across the College and University
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Pay
Commensurate with Education and Experience up to $26.44 per hour
