Position Summary

The Human Resources Generalist for Harleysville, Mexico & Colombia will build strong relationships within Colorcon and provide exceptional HR support to designated locations/departments. The focus of this role will be employee relations, performance management, recruiting & onboarding, and learning & development.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Serve as a generalist to Harleysville, PA, Mexico City, MX, and Bogota, CO sites for all aspects of Human Resources.
  • Support all business units at the sites to maintain cohesiveness as it pertains to employee relations.
  • Attend departmental meetings, liaise with team leaders, supervisors, and managers, and be responsive with advice on coaching, counseling, investigations, disciplines, and terminations.
  • Lead recruiting and onboarding activities for the sites and assigned departments by providing exceptional candidate experience and attracting quality talent.
  • Support Benefits with leave of absence administration and enrollment for the site; partnering with EHS as required.
  • Partner with Manager – Talent & Analytics to ensure culture, job fit, and compensation for all level positions are within scope of responsibility and align with business objectives.
  • Manage Colorcon’s immigration program. Liaise with legal counsel as needed.
  • Maintain current and compliant on HR Employment laws and regulations.
  • Exhibit the six Values of Colorcon.
  • Identify ways to increase the quality of the Colorcon employee experience.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or relevant experience required.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English required.
  • PREFERRED: PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
  • MINIMUM THREE YEARS’ EXPERIENCE WORKING IN HR REQUIRED, WITH SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE SUPPORTING EMPLOYEE RELATIONS REQUIRED.
  • EXPERIENCED IN US, MEXICO, AND COLOMBIA EMPLOYMENT LAWS.
  • EXCELLENT VERBAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS.
  • ABILITY TO COACH, LEAD, AND PARTNER WITH EMPLOYEES ACROSS ALL LEVELS OF THE ORGANIZATION.
  • ABILITY TO WORK WELL UNDER PRESSURE AND MEET MULTIPLE COMPETING DEADLINES.
  • ABILITY TO HANDLE CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION WITH GREAT SENSITIVITY.
  • PROFICIENT WITH MS OFFICE 365 APPLICATIONS.

Qualifications

  • Experience with HRIS systems, preferably Oracle HRMS/Dayforce.

Skills

  • Ability to handle confidential information with great sensitivity.
  • Proficient with MS Office 365 applications.

Pay

Competitive salary commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Hybrid schedule with up to 3 days per week onsite required. Minimum of quarterly travel to Mexico and Colombia is required, with additional travel required based on business needs.
