Opportunity
Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting for engineering and manufacturing roles, as well serving as a key resource for employee relations matters. The HR Generalist will also be responsible for performing general Human Resource duties in support of employee engagement, onboarding, and HR processes and policies. This position is 100% on-site.
Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle recruitment for engineering and manufacturing roles, from intake through offer
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, and develop sourcing strategies
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates through job boards, referrals, and community/technical school partnerships
- Serve as a first point of contact for employees and managers on workplace concerns, performance issues, and policy questions
- Conduct thorough, objective investigations into employee relations cases, and policy violations
- Document findings and recommend appropriate corrective actions in partnership with HR leadership
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as needed
- Aids Human Resources management in the development and compliance of sound employment practices. Communicate such practices to all employees through policy, procedures and employee handbook
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
- 3+ years of HR experience, with proven experience in full-cycle recruiting and employee relations
- Experience hiring for technical roles (engineering disciplines, skilled trades, or manufacturing) strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of employment law fundamentals (FMLA, ADA, Title VII, NLRA) and how they apply in day-to-day HR work
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organization skills
- Proficiency with an ATS and HRIS; experience with UKG a plus
- U.S. citizenship is required

The compensation for this role is commensurate with experience.
