Job Summary

Aids and administers the human resources function and handles administrative requests and questions. Assists and advises on HRIS, benefits, and other policies and procedures. Supports special projects and reports.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Answers employee administrative requests and questions on topics such as paychecks, benefits/insurance, orientation paperwork, Employee Self Service, employment verifications, etc.
  • Executes data management including HRIS data entry, maintenance, and auditing.
  • Acts as the system administrator for HRIS and time and attendance systems.
  • Processes and quality checks approved documents for new hires, job changes, transfers, terminations, and compensation changes.
  • Provides direction, advice, and education to all employee levels on using the HRIS system and Employee Self Service.
  • Serves as the Human Resources manager for administrative duties including mailings, scheduling, distributing information, collecting information, preparing orientation packets, preparing reports, etc.
  • Maintains employee files to ensure privacy and accuracy.
  • Maintains plant bulletin and electronic messaging boards to ensure timely communications.
  • Conducts classroom training including new hire orientation and updates materials accordingly.
  • Acts as the Events Coordinator for fundraising and special events.
  • Supports Human Resources management with administrative tasks.
  • Complies with all regulations, policies, work procedures, instructions, and safety rules.
  • Maintains regular, reliable, punctual, and predictable attendance.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business, related field or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of human resources experience.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Experience with HR business systems (i.e. Ultimate, SuccessFactors, SAP HCM) and MS Office applications.
  • Working knowledge of worker’s compensation, ADA, and unemployment regulations and reporting, ISO9000, FDA, and cGMP requirements.
  • Prior manufacturing experience in an industrial setting preferred.
  • Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy.
  • Able to comply with the company’s safety and quality policies.
